A Women's Circle
Leading from the Heart

Women have an incredible capacity to create change in their worlds and it takes a lot of strength, love, energy, presence, and sensibility. It takes leading from the heart. Sometimes, it is exhausting because there is so much to do. And sometimes, we just need to be; be in a space where we feel safe, where we are seen, heard and held. A place where we can rest and laugh so we can be nourished and energised to keep doing our inner work and bringing our magic into the world.

Practicalities

Every other week, the circle meets in the heart of Stockholm to learn from one another through dialogues grounded in a topic that is shared ahead of the circle. All participants are welcome to bring a topic to the circle.

We may speak in English, Swedish or Swenglish depending on who attends the circle.

Participants join the circle as regularly as possible to deepen our connection and resonance in the circle.

We open the circle by checking in with each other and hear everyone’s voice. Through dialogue, we explore a topic and learn from each other. We close the circle with a gratitude ritual.

Guidelines

  • I actively listen; I don’t interrupt or talk over others.

  • I speak from the heart, with empathy.

  • I respect the circle's time and I consciously share the speaking time equitably within the circle.

  • To the best of my abilities, I practise embodied awareness; I listen to my body.

  • When I feel a tension or conflict, I address it; meaningful relationships are built by repairing when it ruptures, not by avoiding ruptures.

  • All of me is welcome: the light and the darkness, the laughs and the tears, the fears and the joy.

  • A circle can be healing in many ways, and is not therapy.

Topic Ideas

  • Who do you see as leaders? Do you see yourself as a leader? If yes, how? If not, why?

  • What makes your heart sing? What breaks your heart? What happens when you follow your heart's intelligence? What happens when you don't?

  • In what ways do you have privileges over others? How do these privileges impact the way you see the world, your biases? How can your privileges be of service?

  • What is your relationship to the Natural world?

  • What do feminine and masculine qualities mean to you? How do you relate to each of them? How do each of these qualities serve you?

If you want to know more about and possibly join the circle, please reach out to me.
